Uniswap Labs is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to support the team responsible for data infrastructure across its products, including the Uniswap Web App, Wallet, Trading API, and broader protocol ecosystem. The role focuses on building and optimizing systems that process large volumes of both on-chain and off-chain data. The engineer will design scalable pipelines, maintain data models, and work closely with teams across product, engineering, and business functions to ensure reliable insights that guide decision-making.
This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical capability, and an ability to translate complex data into clear outputs for stakeholders. The role can be based in New York or operate remotely within the United States.
🔹 Responsibilities
Data Infrastructure Development
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines for processing large on-chain and off-chain datasets.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
• Implement validation and monitoring systems to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct ongoing audits and quality checks to resolve data issues.
Analytics and Reporting
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions aligned with analytical needs.
• Perform exploratory analysis to uncover insights supporting product and business strategy.
Collaboration and Communication
• Work with product, engineering, and business teams on data requirements and solutions.
• Explain technical insights and findings to non-technical audiences.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts.
Continuous Improvement
• Stay updated on trends in data engineering and analytics.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance data processing and visualization.
• Promote best practices across data engineering and analytics functions.
🔹 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in data engineering/analytics, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Programming experience in Python or Scala.
• Familiarity with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong understanding of ETL, data modeling, and warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of machine learning and data science workflows.
🔹 Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $196,000–$217,000 (NYC Pay Transparency Law).
