Consensys is hiring a Data Analyst to work closely with MetaMask product teams and support data-driven decisions across a broad ecosystem of Web3 tools, including Infura, Linea, Diligence, and Phosphor. The role sits within the Data team under the Office of the COO and focuses on generating insights from complex datasets, modeling data in dbt, and developing trusted analytical sources of truth.
The analyst will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers, ensuring measurable evaluation of product features and user behavior. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience with on-chain datasets, and the ability to communicate findings that guide product strategy in a fast-moving, global, remote environment.
🔹 Responsibilities
• Produce actionable insights using exploratory analysis across high-dimensional datasets, including product logs, on-chain data, and social data.
• Work with product, design, and engineering teams to understand and anticipate data needs.
• Build reliable analytical models using dbt to measure product features and initiatives.
• Create clear visualizations that communicate findings effectively.
• Contribute to data platform improvements and support analytics automation with AI tools.
• Help define data standards, optimize analytical processes, and encourage data-driven practices.
• Oversee analytics workflows from initial scoping to delivery and ongoing support.
🔹 Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a data analyst, product analyst, or data scientist.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, and data modeling with dbt.
• Proficiency with at least one visualization tool (Looker, Superset, Tableau, Mixpanel, etc.).
• Demonstrated interest in Web3 and blockchain ecosystems.
• Experience working with on-chain data across EVM, SVM, or UTXO models.
• Familiarity with event logging tools (e.g., GTM, Segment).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to senior leadership.
• Ability to frame hypotheses, manage ambiguity, and work with urgency.
• Background in descriptive and inferential statistics is desirable.
