🔹 Responsibilities
• Lead design and development of products and technical solutions for state governments and enterprise customers
• Collaborate closely with customer delivery leads, engineers, and UX designers to support successful project delivery and deployments
• Translate customer requirements into technical architectures and working implementations
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for public-sector partners on standards adoption and implementation practices
• Build backend software and full-stack web and mobile applications that meet security, privacy, and accessibility requirements
• Contribute to Rust codebases operating across backend systems, browsers, and mobile environments
• Manage customer deployments and support operational workflows

🔹 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience shipping backend software using statically typed languages such as C#, Rust, Go, or Java
• Experience building and shipping modern web frontends that meet accessibility and security standards
• Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering projects and delivering production systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with DevOps practices and deployment workflows
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing engineering experience, ideally within consulting or delivery environments
• Based in the United States and comfortable engaging directly with state government partners
• Strong foundation in digital identity, cryptography, data privacy, or blockchain is a plus
• Prior experience working on public-sector software projects is preferred

• Base salary: $150,000 – $175,000 USD
