Job description

Pepperstone is a global fintech and regulated trading platform operating across Forex, CFD, digital assets, and financial markets infrastructure. The company supports onboarding, trading, compliance, and customer lifecycle systems across multiple regulatory jurisdictions and operating environments. This hybrid Singapore-based role focuses on onboarding product management, KYC optimisation, identity verification workflows, and customer activation infrastructure.

The role combines onboarding UX, compliance systems, funnel optimisation, and operational scalability within regulated fintech and digital asset environments. The Product Manager will work closely with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Analytics, and Customer Support teams to improve onboarding conversion, reduce drop-offs, optimise review workflows, and support scalable onboarding infrastructure across APAC, EMEA, and Latin America markets. This position aligns with blockchain infrastructure roles and regulated onboarding systems for financial platforms.

Scaling a web3 team handling onboarding and identity verification requires strong coordination across compliance, product delivery, customer operations, and engineering workflows.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Develop and execute onboarding and account management experiences that improve customer conversion and onboarding performance

• Own the onboarding and account approval funnel including drop-offs, review outcomes, and account readiness metrics

• Lead discovery, design, and delivery of onboarding and post-onboarding product enhancements

• Optimise onboarding systems across multiple regulatory and market environments

• Prioritise onboarding product work using customer feedback, analytics, compliance requirements, and operational insights

• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Customer Support teams to improve onboarding workflows, SLAs, exception handling, and queue management

• Work with UX, Research, and Analytics teams to validate onboarding improvements through experimentation and usability testing

• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to translate onboarding challenges into scalable product requirements

• Engage directly with customers and frontline teams to understand onboarding pain points and operational constraints

• Ensure onboarding systems adapt effectively to changing regulatory and market requirements

• Monitor regulatory and industry developments related to digital assets and trading platforms

• Support post-launch monitoring, QA testing, and onboarding performance analysis

• Communicate product updates, trade-offs, metrics, and roadmap progress to stakeholders

Building blockchain infrastructure roles for regulated onboarding requires balancing compliance obligations, onboarding UX, and operational scalability.

🔹 Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience focused on onboarding, activation, or account lifecycle systems

• Experience working within regulated financial services environments including fintech, brokerages, payments, or digital assets

• Experience improving onboarding conversion, activation, and drop-off reduction metrics

• Global onboarding experience across jurisdictions including APAC, Latin America, or EMEA

• Proven ability to optimise onboarding funnels using analytics, experimentation, and customer research

• Strong platform and systems thinking for reusable onboarding infrastructure

• Experience balancing onboarding UX with AML, sanctions screening, suitability, and compliance requirements

• Strong understanding of identity verification and KYC systems including document verification, liveness detection, and risk signals

• Experience with onboarding operations, manual review queues, SLAs, and straight-through processing improvements

• Strong stakeholder management skills across Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Customer Support teams

• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Experience with MFA, authentication flows, account recovery, or security settings is beneficial

• Exposure to fraud prevention, device risk signals, or account security controls is preferred

• Comfortable operating in fast-moving regulatory environments
