Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Blockchain

Crypto dot com is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join its blockchain engineering team in Singapore. The team builds and maintains scalable applications that support venture projects adjacent to the company’s core platform, covering components across frontend UI, backend services, and infrastructure. This role focuses on designing automated testing strategies that improve software quality, shorten testing cycles, and strengthen reliability across blockchain infrastructure roles. Working closely with engineering, product, and QA teams, the engineer will develop test frameworks, execute automated testing, and contribute to continuous integration workflows. The position requires strong programming skills, deep experience with automation tools, and the ability to maintain high testing standards in a fast-moving development environment.

Supporting teams that are scaling a web3 team, this role focuses on strengthening automated testing practices across blockchain engineering systems.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases with strong emphasis on solving technical challenges through automation and shortening test cycles using code
• Estimate test efforts, analyze results, communicate findings, and participate in daily QA activities
• Develop, maintain, and improve test frameworks, tools, and technologies used by the organization
• Collaborate with development, testing, and product management teams to design and implement test and validation strategies
• Execute and manage test cases and results while reporting test and defect metrics
• Create, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across multiple systems
• Contribute to scalable and high-quality automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Contribute to building CI processes in GitHub and support continuous process improvement initiatives
• Identify improvements in testing and development processes and enhance automation tools to address specific needs
• Maintain high quality standards in a complex and constantly evolving engineering environment

🔹 Requirements

• Experience in Blockchain QA
• Experience with application and API testing and automated testing techniques across the software development lifecycle
• Experience working with frameworks such as TestNG, Appium, Selenium, and Cucumber
• Strong programming experience in at least one language such as Python (required), JavaScript (preferred), Rust, Golang, or Java
• Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
• Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into test plans and test cases
• Strong customer focus with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of continuous integration practices, preferably using GitHub
• Experience working in an agile environment preferred
• Ability to work across Windows and Linux environments is a plus
• Passion for improving code quality through collaboration with development teams
• Experience using coding standards and participating in code reviews
