Junior React Native Engineer

This role focuses on developing cross-platform mobile applications within Trust Wallet’s engineering organization. As a React Native Engineer, you will contribute to mobile app feature development, UI performance, debugging work, and shared component deployment across iOS and Android. The work includes collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to implement well-structured features while following best coding practices.

The position offers opportunities to engage in testing, knowledge-sharing, and participation in broader development efforts that may also include exposure to web-based components and full-stack development. Applicants are expected to bring strong problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiarity with mobile platform considerations.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android
• Contribute to shared components used across mobile and web platforms
• Write maintainable, testable, and high-quality code
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams on end-to-end delivery
• Diagnose and fix bugs to ensure strong performance and user experience
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Assist in web-related feature contributions when applicable
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for reliability

🔹 Requirements

• 2–5 years of software development experience with a strong focus on React Native
• Strong JavaScript proficiency and familiarity with TypeScript
• Interest in expanding beyond mobile into web development
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX and platform-specific behavior
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Experience using Git and collaborative workflows
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
