TON Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting the development and adoption of The Open Network (TON). The Developer Relations Engineer focuses on improving the developer experience by building practical demos, sample applications, and reusable templates that demonstrate TON capabilities.
This role works closely with engineering and product teams to keep examples, documentation, and SDK references aligned with releases. The position also involves engaging directly with developers through workshops, hackathons, and community channels, gathering feedback, and translating it into actionable improvements.
This is a fully remote role suited for candidates with hands-on engineering experience and interest in developer enablement within Web3 developer jobs and blockchain engineering environments.
🔹 Responsibilities
• Build and maintain demos, dApps, Telegram Mini Apps, and reusable templates showcasing current and new TON features.
• Maintain GitHub repositories, including examples, templates, version pins, changelogs, and release notes aligned with SDK and tooling updates.
• Produce developer enablement content such as documentation, tutorials, blog posts, short videos, and reference guides.
• Deliver hands-on developer programs including workshops, office hours, bootcamps, meetups, and hackathons, while supporting developers across community channels.
• Collect developer feedback and convert it into clear issues or pull requests in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Review and improve developer documentation to ensure accuracy, discoverability, and alignment with product releases.
• Support selected grant applicants from evaluation through launch in coordination with internal teams.
• Represent TON at conferences, roadshows, and ecosystem events worldwide.
🔹 Requirements
• At least 2 years of software engineering experience using languages such as Rust, Java, Python, or TypeScript, with the ability to build full-stack demos, CLIs, or SDK integrations.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with experience producing step-by-step, runnable guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage DevRel initiatives end-to-end, including planning, execution, and measurement.
• Prior Web3 experience is beneficial, along with a strong interest and ability to learn quickly.
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, ecosystem, partnerships, and marketing teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to approximately 30% of the time.
