Protofire is seeking a Middle/Senior Fullstack Blockchain Developer to work on projects across major Web3 ecosystems. The role focuses on building backend and frontend components for EVM-compatible applications that serve large user bases.

You will contribute to products used across multiple blockchain networks and collaborate with platform teams, project stakeholders, and community members. The position also includes improving project functionality, supporting open-source initiatives, and participating in technical discussions across networks.

This role is ideal for engineers with strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience, multi-language exposure, and practical knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized architectures.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Develop backend and frontend services across various blockchain ecosystems, primarily EVM-based.
• Improve products by understanding business goals and proposing new features.
• Communicate with network and platform stakeholders to support ecosystem adoption.
• Contribute meaningfully to open-source projects in the Web3 space.

🔹 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and one or more of: Node.js, Go, Rust, Python, or Elixir (Elixir is a plus).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, with preference for Ethereum.
• Experience with Solidity.
• Familiarity with tools/libraries such as Hardhat, web3.js, ethers.js, web3.py, Storybook, etc.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Interest in blockchain advancements, research, and decentralized technologies.
