Blockdaemon is hiring a Frontend Engineer to support its Wallet Engineering team in building user-focused web applications for institutional blockchain infrastructure. The role centers on developing accessible, performant interfaces that make complex blockchain workflows intuitive for end-users.

You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into reliable and scalable frontend implementations. The position involves contributing to component design, code quality, testing practices, and ongoing performance optimization.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Build and maintain accessible, high-quality web applications using modern frontend tooling.
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to convert requirements into polished UI/UX.
• Implement strong testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Optimize frontend performance, scalability, and accessibility to support a wide range of users.
• Keep current with frontend trends and developments relevant to blockchain applications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.

🔹 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional frontend development experience with a portfolio of web projects.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Svelte, or Vue.
• Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience using state management tools (Redux, MobX, Vuex).
• Familiarity with design systems or component libraries.
• Competence with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in diverse teams.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
• Openness to learning new technologies and expanding skills.

🔹 Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience building wallets, exchanges, or financial applications.
• Exposure to blockchain, smart contracts, or tools like ethers.js, wagmi, or web3.js.
• Work with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js.
• Understanding of GraphQL and backend integrations.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
