Forward Deployed Engineer — Full Stack Engineering

Axiom develops zero-knowledge infrastructure and software focused on enabling verifiable and private applications for crypto and fintech use cases. The company recently launched OpenVM, a modular zkVM framework that allows developers to verify arbitrary program execution while supporting customization and extensibility. This role aligns with blockchain infrastructure roles that combine engineering, product execution, and customer-facing technical ownership.
The Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with customers integrating OpenVM and the Axiom Proving API, helping design pilots, build product demonstrations, customize deployments, and drive successful implementation outcomes. The position involves close collaboration across engineering, product, and customer teams while gathering insights that influence future roadmap decisions. Experience across Python, TypeScript, infrastructure tooling, remote collaboration, and customer-driven product delivery is highly relevant.
🔹 Responsibilities
• Help customers maximize the value they receive from OpenVM and the Axiom Proving API
• Design and develop product demonstrations that showcase platform capabilities
• Execute technical pilots with customers across crypto and fintech organizations
• Support teams integrating zero-knowledge technology into their products using OpenVM
• Own technical customer relationships throughout deployment and adoption
• Customize OpenVM implementations to meet customer requirements
• Ensure successful customer outcomes and product impact
• Gather customer feedback and communicate requirements that help shape the product roadmap

🔹 Requirements
• Proven experience shipping full-stack products across frontend and backend systems
• Strong development experience using Python, TypeScript, or comparable technology stacks
• Familiarity with application deployment using Kubernetes (k8s) and Terraform
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and taking initiative
• Strong execution-oriented mindset and work ethic

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience selling products or working in customer-facing technical roles
• Experience with cryptography or blockchain engineering

• Salary range: USD $125,000 – $200,000
