Staff UX Designer — UX Design

This Staff UX Designer position owns design execution across the SaaS platform, translating complex business and technical requirements into scalable user experiences. 

The role works closely with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to define design direction, create roadmaps, and maintain platform consistency. Responsibilities span AI-enabled design workflows, design systems, prototyping, accessibility, mentorship, and quality assurance within a fast-moving product environment. 🔹 Responsibilitis

• Champion an AI-first design culture by identifying, implementing, and maintaining generative design tools.

• Architect and evolve the Saviynt pattern library to enable non-design teams to create on-brand, high-fidelity assets.

• Ensure designs support WCAG 2.1+ compliance, ARIA attributes, and screen-reader accessibility requirements.

• Use AI coding assistants along with HTML and CSS skills to create functional prototypes and explore AI-driven user experiences.

• Drive organizational change initiatives and maintain ownership of broad design themes and strategic priorities.

• Anticipate organizational and product shifts, creating roadmaps that address complex business challenges.

• Identify opportunities beyond assigned workstreams and help teams prioritize for maximum impact.

• Establish and scale design patterns across initiatives while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the pattern library.

• Mentor junior designers and oversee contractor teams while maintaining technical quality standards.

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to align execution with product vision.

• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final production-ready design deliverables.

• Conduct post-development quality assurance reviews and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams.

• Proven experience working in an AI-first design environment and using LLMs and Generative AI to solve complex design and architectural challenges.

• Experience creating scalable systems and workflows that enable broader organizational adoption while preserving UX quality and brand consistency.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in a web-based, product-focused company with SaaS product experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or a related product design discipline.

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale initiatives from concept through delivery and coordinating work across teams and contractors.

• Experience acting as an Outcome Owner with responsibility for prioritization and organizational clarity.

• Ability to understand complex data structures and design across multiple hierarchies and workflows.

• Collaborative, self-directed, organized, and feedback-oriented working style.

• Advanced expertise in wireframing and interactive prototyping.

• Ability to think non-linearly and design for complex interactions, edge cases, and multiple user states.

• Experience using HTML and CSS for front-end prototyping and feasibility validation.

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) or cybersecurity is preferred.

• Experience conducting user research, user testing, data collection, and iterative design improvements in agile environments.

• Portfolio demonstrating customer-focused design processes, problem-solving capabilities, and execution quality.

• Ability to complete required security and privacy training and adhere to information security and privacy policies.
