QA Engineer (Mid-Level) — QA Automation

🔹 Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality processes for the Live Streaming and Content domain, including requirements review, test planning, test case creation, execution, and release approval.

• Lead testing activities across App, Web, Backend, and Admin platforms while identifying end-to-end risks throughout the stack.

• Validate live streaming functionality including stream start and end flows, co-streaming, cross-room connectivity, playback, compliance scenarios, and edge cases.

• Test under conditions such as weak network connectivity, interrupted streams, application backgrounding, and high-concurrency usage.

• Maintain and enhance the automation regression framework built with Python, pytest, and k6.

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, compliance teams, and operations teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.

• Support AI-assisted testing initiatives and contribute to team documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts.

🔹 Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of QA experience within internet, fintech, or content platform companies.

• Proven live streaming testing experience covering stream initiation, co-streaming, push and pull streaming, interactive functions, and playback validation.

• Comfortable working within agile release environments using 2–3 week sprint cycles, grey rollouts, and production releases.

• Ability to independently manage test coverage and review test cases and automation code created by others.

• Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to identify and escalate risks proactively.

• Working knowledge of Python automation sufficient to read, extend, and maintain existing automation scripts.

• Strong ownership mindset with a focus on product quality beyond coverage metrics.

• Experience in Web3, crypto, content communities, or fintech environments is advantageous.

• Familiarity with k6, JMeter, or similar performance testing platforms is preferred.

• Experience performing API testing using tools such as Postman and specification-driven testing methodologies.

• Exposure to AI-assisted testing workflows or AI coding tools including Claude Code, Cursor, or related technologies.

• Experience with content moderation, anti-spam systems, or compliance testing is beneficial.

• SQL knowledge and data validation experience are considered advantageous.
