Job description

Block Labs is a technology studio building products across Web3, Artificial Intelligence, and iGaming. The company develops large-scale digital platforms, decentralized financial infrastructure, and AI-powered systems with a focus on long-term architecture and product ownership.

This Product Manager role owns the full lifecycle of Shield and Insights, two core modules within a white-label casino platform. Shield focuses on fraud prevention, risk scoring, compliance workflows, case management, auditability, and transaction monitoring, while Insights provides operational intelligence through dashboards, alerts, reporting, and root-cause analysis. The position requires experience with fraud, AML, payments risk, decisioning systems, and compliance-focused products while working closely with design, engineering, QA, delivery, data, and AI teams. These responsibilities align closely with blockchain infrastructure roles that require operational accuracy and high-trust decision systems.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Own the complete product lifecycle for Shield and Insights, including vision, roadmap, discovery, prioritisation, requirements, and ongoing iteration.

• Improve Shield outcomes through faster case reviews, improved decision quality, reduced false positives, stronger auditability, clearer reason codes, and more consistent review processes.

• Improve Insights outcomes through more relevant alerts, useful reporting, stronger root-cause analysis, and faster interpretation of business performance changes.

• Lead cross-functional collaboration across design, development, QA, and delivery teams while maintaining alignment and accountability for outcomes.

• Conduct discovery sessions with operators, fraud teams, compliance stakeholders, analysts, casino teams, payment specialists, and internal subject matter experts.

• Create and maintain product artefacts including problem definitions, workflows, user journeys, metrics, assumptions, constraints, trade-offs, and decision records.

• Translate fraud, AML, payments, gameplay, bonus abuse, and operational intelligence requirements into actionable product requirements.

• Define Shield capabilities covering risk scoring, decision logic, case management workflows, review queues, audit logs, permissions, escalation processes, and reason codes.

• Define Insights capabilities including KPI frameworks, monitoring interfaces, reports, alerts, baseline comparisons, and AI-assisted analytical experiences.

• Work closely with the Data and AI Technical Product Manager to deliver clear requirements for supporting data and AI initiatives.

• Use operational and product data to validate assumptions and guide prioritisation decisions.

• Engage stakeholders effectively while maintaining ownership of product priorities and trade-off decisions.

For organizations seeking web3 talent acquisition strategy expertise, product leaders with fraud and compliance experience are increasingly critical to platform scalability.

🔹 Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of Product Management experience.

• Experience owning or contributing significantly to fraud, risk, compliance, AML, payments risk, transaction monitoring, decisioning, or case management products.

• Experience working with products involving complex backend logic, workflow automation, scoring models, operational decisions, and data dependencies.

• Strong knowledge of Product Management practices including discovery, prioritisation, delivery, stakeholder management, iteration, and requirements definition.

• Strong data literacy with the ability to transform operational insights into product decisions.

• Experience operating within compliance-driven, regulated, financial, or high-trust environments.

• Experience in iGaming, casino, sportsbook, or gambling products is beneficial.

• Familiarity with AML/KYT, wallet risk, KYC, identity risk, payment fraud, device intelligence, withdrawal risk, or chargeback prevention.

• Experience with risk engines, fraud tooling, compliance platforms, review systems, and case management products.

• Experience integrating third-party providers such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, SEON, FingerprintJS, ThreatMetrix, Sumsub, Onfido, PSPs, or onramp providers.

• Exposure to bonus abuse prevention, multi-account detection, gameplay risk analysis, account velocity monitoring, and operator back-office processes.

• Experience building dashboards, reporting systems, anomaly detection tools, alerts, and operational intelligence products.

• Experience working within B2B, SaaS, platform, or white-label product environments.

• Practical understanding of AI-assisted workflows including analysis, summaries, alerting, and decision-support systems.
