Job description

Delta Exchange is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support AML, CFT, trade surveillance, regulatory reporting, and compliance operations within its crypto and financial services environment. This role works across compliance, legal, finance, risk, and operations teams to strengthen internal controls, monitor suspicious activities, support regulatory obligations, and maintain effective AML and KYC frameworks. 

The position focuses on anti-money laundering investigations, sanctions screening, suspicious transaction reporting, trade surveillance, risk assessment, and policy governance. The successful candidate will help ensure regulatory compliance while supporting operational processes in a remote environment. This opportunity is closely aligned with web3 security roles and compliance functions supporting regulated digital asset businesses.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Manage AML processes to identify, investigate, and report suspicious activities in a timely manner.
• Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the relevant authorities.
• Respond to FIU alerts, communications, emails, and regulatory inquiries.
• Design and maintain surveillance processes to monitor trading activity and identify market abuse, insider trading, and manipulative conduct.
• Investigate suspicious trading patterns and escalate findings where necessary.
• Improve surveillance frameworks in accordance with regulatory expectations and industry practices.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations and internal compliance standards.
• Conduct periodic AML reviews and support KYC and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) compliance requirements.
• Develop, update, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and standard operating processes.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports within required timelines.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting crypto and financial services compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant regulatory and enforcement authorities.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, risk, and operations teams to integrate compliance requirements into business activities.
• Provide compliance guidance for new products, services, and partnership initiatives.

🔹 Requirements

• Prior experience in AML/CFT, trade surveillance, or related compliance functions, preferably within crypto, broking, or fintech organizations.
• Understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of STR reporting requirements, surveillance tools, and AML/KYC compliance frameworks.
• Ability to conduct and evaluate risk assessments related to financial crime risks.
• Familiarity with sanctions screening processes and identifying sanctioned individuals or entities.
• Understanding of background screening considerations relevant to compliance functions.
• Relevant compliance certifications are advantageous.
• Technical proficiency with AML/CFT software, compliance databases, and monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, investigative capabilities, and attention to detail.
