Blockchain Developer

This role sits within Securitize’s engineering team and focuses on building and maintaining blockchain-based systems that support tokenized real-world assets. The position involves developing backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript, alongside designing and deploying Solidity smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks.

The developer contributes to CI/CD pipelines, testing workflows, and code quality standards while collaborating with product teams to translate functional requirements into technical designs. The role also emphasizes performance, security, and maintainable code, with opportunities to work across smart contracts, backend services, and supporting UI frameworks in a fully remote environment.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Develop and ship new backend features using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
• Design, implement, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM networks
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including unit testing and code coverage practices
• Apply knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Vue or React when needed
• Write clean, secure, and performant code aligned with industry best practices
• Work independently while proactively improving code quality and internal processes

🔹 Requirements

• At least five years of professional software development experience
• Ability to contribute to technical design discussions and architecture decisions
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript, including unit and end-to-end testing with coverage reporting
• Familiarity with the blockchain ecosystem and willingness to research emerging technologies independently
• Interest in decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

🔹 Compensation & Benefits

• Annual compensation range of USD 72,000–78,000
• Equity offered as part of the compensation package
