Just wrapped up all my technical rounds for a blockchain dev role at a US-based Layer 1 company (woohoo!), and now it’s time for the HR talk. And honestly? I have no clue what number to throw out.

I’ve got 5 years of experience, mostly working on Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions, deep into Rust for smart contracts and performance optimization. Right now, I’m based in Nigeria, so this whole US salary thing feels like a guessing game.

What’s the ballpark for someone at my level? What’s too high? Too low? I don’t wanna shortchange myself, but I also don’t wanna price myself out.
