The Technical Lead Manager, Infrastructure role focuses on leading backend teams responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, fault-tolerant systems that support millions of developers globally.

This role owns technical execution and contributes to platform strategy, ensuring infrastructure meets requirements for low latency, reliability, and cost efficiency. The position works closely with product managers and cross-functional partners to align engineering priorities with product goals. In addition to hands-on technical leadership, the role emphasizes team mentorship, process improvement, hiring, and contributing to engineering culture as the organization continues to scale.

🔹 Responsibilities

Lead and oversee technical and product strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Guide teams building and operating scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant backend infrastructure.
Monitor emerging technologies and ecosystem trends to inform technical direction and communicate progress clearly.
Improve delivery execution by mentoring engineers, refining processes, and maintaining high engineering standards.
Recruit, interview, and hire engineers to support team growth.
Contribute to engineering culture through leadership, mentorship, and continuous learning initiatives.

🔹 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of software development experience, preferably with distributed systems.
2+ years of engineering management experience leading backend teams for production infrastructure in a high-growth environment.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
Experience with Java, Kubernetes, AWS, and multi-region or multi-cloud architectures (strongly preferred).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and open-source engagement.
Ability to work autonomously, balance delivery speed with quality, and explore emerging technologies in crypto and AI.
