    Solutions Engineer II

    QuickNode

    FULL_TIMENA

    Job description

QuickNode is a remote-first blockchain infrastructure company supporting Web3 builders with high-performance global data services. The Solutions Engineering team guides enterprise and high-growth customers through technical evaluation, solution design, and adoption of QuickNode’s infrastructure.

As a Solutions Engineer II, you will act as a trusted technical partner during pre-sales engagements, helping clients design scalable blockchain architectures, validate approaches through PoCs and demos, and translate requirements into actionable solutions. The role combines software engineering, cloud architecture, blockchain system design, and customer-facing collaboration.

You will contribute reusable tooling, provide product feedback based on real-world needs, and support customer readiness across multi-chain deployments. Candidates should bring strong programming experience, blockchain protocol knowledge, and the ability to design secure, scalable Web3 systems.

    🔹 Responsibilities

    • Participate in discovery calls to understand customer requirements, constraints, and desired outcomes.
    • Analyze client needs and map them to QuickNode’s product capabilities for tailored solution designs.
    • Build PoCs, demos, and technical prototypes that validate architecture choices and accelerate adoption.
    • Explore emerging protocols and technologies to maintain solution relevance and innovation.
    • Develop tooling, scripts, and reference implementations to streamline solution delivery.
    • Maintain reusable assets including templates, automation scripts, and solution guides.
    • Provide structured product feedback based on customer interactions and identified gaps.
    • Collaborate with engineering, product, and GTM teams to refine offerings and support customer success.

    🔹 Requirements

    • 4–6 years of software development experience, ideally in blockchain or cloud-focused solution engineering.
    • Proficiency with modern languages such as TypeScript, Go, Python, or Rust.
    • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience with cost optimization.
    • Deep knowledge of Web3 technologies, including JSON-RPC, on-chain data interactions, and blockchain systems (Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin).
    • Experience designing secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure for enterprise and decentralized applications.
    • Familiarity with dApp development, smart contract integration, and validator/node configuration.
    • Strong systems and networking fundamentals across diverse stacks and frameworks.
    • Ability to translate non-technical requirements into clear, scalable technical solutions.
    • Experience optimizing cloud workloads, especially high-throughput blockchain deployments.
    • Understanding of interoperability, cross-chain communication, and Layer-2 scaling.
    • Exposure to blockchain security, consensus mechanisms, ZK systems, oracles, and DeFi protocols.
    • Hands-on experience managing blockchain nodes across major chains.
    • Ability to build complex smart contract architectures, including upgradeable patterns and DAO frameworks.
    • Awareness of blockchain governance, tokenomics, and incentive design considerations.
    • Compensation varies by region; this role includes quarterly bonus eligibility.
