Solutions Architect — Payments Infrastructure

Rain builds global payments infrastructure that enables stablecoin-based transactions across card payments, cross-border transfers, B2B purchases, and remittances. The team operates in a lean, high-ownership environment, partnering with fintechs, neobanks, and institutions to deploy real-world financial solutions.

This role sits within engineering-facing functions, working cross-functionally with product, operations, and engineering teams to scope integrations and support deployment cycles. The Solutions Architect owns the technical journey from initial discovery to production rollout, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and platform capabilities. This position contributes directly to scaling customer implementations and refining integration processes as the company expands its payments infrastructure.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Lead customer implementations from technical discovery through onboarding to production deployment
• Troubleshoot client technical issues and provide hands-on integration support for the platform
• Support customer conversations around API capabilities and guide clients through development workflows
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver structured customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions
• Bridge customer requirements with engineering solutions, escalating issues and advocating for fixes where necessary

🔹 Requirements

• 4+ years of technical experience in system integrations (Solutions Engineer, Support Engineer, or Implementation Specialist)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong problem-solving ability with a demonstrated track record of delivering technical solutions
• Ability to communicate complex systems clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, SQL, and/or other programming languages
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in fast-paced environments
• Comfort working in early-stage environments with evolving processes
• Fluent in Mandarin

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech environments (neobanking or card issuing preferred)
• Familiarity with financial APIs, webhook systems, and real-time payment infrastructure
