Senior Software Engineer (Rust / Golang)

QuickNode is a global remote-first infrastructure provider supporting large-scale blockchain applications. The company’s engineering team maintains high-performance, globally distributed systems that serve billions of requests daily.

This Senior Software Engineer role sits within the Build team, working on core infrastructure and new product capabilities. The position requires tackling complex, unsolved challenges in blockchain infrastructure, contributing to system reliability, and shaping long-term engineering direction.

You will collaborate across teams, engage with customers, and help refine internal tools and processes. Candidates should bring strong engineering fundamentals, experience with Rust and/or Go, and an interest in distributed systems, scalability, and continuous improvement. Compensation includes a P4-level salary range plus quarterly bonuses.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on infrastructure and products alongside a cross-functional engineering team.
• Design, implement, and maintain reliable systems that support QuickNode’s services.
• Contribute to engineering strategy, roadmap decisions, and long-term technical direction.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting service quality or performance.
• Enhance engineering practices, tooling, and operational processes across the team.

🔹 Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation; ability to work with Rust and/or Go preferred.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems using tools such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Kinesis, ScyllaDB, or RabbitMQ.
• Interest in building products and continuously learning new technologies.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for customers.
• Openness to growth, feedback, and cross-team collaboration.
• For U.S. candidates: base salary range $189,000–$210,000 (P4 level), plus quarterly bonuses; international compensation discussed during hiring.
