Senior Software Engineer – E-commerce

Ledger is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to support the development and growth of its e-commerce platform, responsible for the user-facing experience of ledger.com. The role involves working across multiple repositories, implementing high-quality code, and contributing to architecture and planning of new features.

The engineer will participate in an agile workflow, engage in CI/CD practices, contribute to system reliability and scalability, and help uphold technical craft standards across the engineering team. The position requires experience in enterprise codebases and strong engineering principles, oriented toward clean, maintainable design. The work will contribute directly to Ledger’s ecosystem of Web3 and digital asset products by improving purchasing flows, content systems, and e-commerce functionality.

🔹 Responsibilities
• Work with TypeScript, NextJS, Shopify, Contentful, and Hono
• Contribute within an agile CI/CD engineering culture
• Write maintainable, secure, and efficient code
• Support team quality by encouraging best-practice coding styles
• Present updates in sprint demos and similar forums
• Communicate technical details clearly to mixed-audience stakeholders
• Collaborate across multiple repositories with Web3 and e-commerce relevance
• Participate in blueprinting and planning of new features

🔹 Requirements
• 5+ years contributing to large-scale or enterprise codebases
• Strong communication ability and attention to software quality
• Interest and skill in mentoring and shared technical growth
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design, Clean Code, and eXtreme Programming
• Experience with TDD and collaborative development practices
• Understanding of data-driven decision processes
