The Senior Rust Engineer (Backend) role focuses on building and maintaining backend systems that power these platforms. This position contributes directly to backend APIs, infrastructure, and system reliability across mobile, desktop, and server-side applications.

The role is part of a lean, technical team working remotely, with an emphasis on writing maintainable code, operating scalable systems, and improving live production software.

🔹 Responsibilities

Develop new backend features and system improvements
Test, deploy, debug, and maintain backend API services
Write clear, well-tested, and documented code
Create and review technical designs, code changes, and documentation
Contribute to infrastructure supporting mobile, desktop, and server-side applications

🔹 Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field, or equivalent professional experience
4+ years of experience in software development writing robust, maintainable code
Experience building and operating large-scale, distributed systems
Ability to identify and resolve issues in complex, live production environments
Familiarity with modern development workflows, including CI/CD
Professional or native-level English proficiency
