Crypto.com’s Blockchain Engineering group builds and maintains software for venture-style initiatives that extend beyond its core products. This senior QA automation role focuses on ensuring quality across scalable applications spanning frontend interfaces and backend infrastructure. The position emphasizes automation-first testing, test framework development, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
The engineer will own test planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement of quality processes, while contributing to CI workflows and tooling. Operating within a lean, fast-moving environment, the role requires maintaining a high quality bar across functional, regression, and performance testing as systems evolve.
🔹 Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans and test cases with a strong focus on automation to reduce test cycles
Estimate testing effort, analyze outcomes, communicate results, and participate in daily QA activities
Build, maintain, and enhance test frameworks, tools, and technologies to uphold quality standards
Collaborate with development, testing, and product teams on test and validation strategies
Execute and manage test cases, track results, and report test and defect metrics
Create, run, and debug automated test scenarios across systems
Deliver scalable automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing
Contribute to CI setup in GitHub and ongoing process improvements
Identify gaps in testing and development processes and enhance automation tools accordingly
Maintain a high quality bar in a complex and evolving engineering environment
🔹 Requirements
Prior experience in blockchain quality assurance
Experience with application and API testing, including automated testing across the SDLC
Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TestNG, Appium, Selenium, and Cucumber
Strong proficiency in Python (required); experience with JavaScript (preferred), Rust, Golang, or Java
Solid understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading
Ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into test plans and test cases
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Working knowledge of continuous integration practices, preferably using GitHub
Experience in agile environments; ability to work across Windows and Linux is a plus
Commitment to improving code quality through collaboration and code reviews
Familiarity with coding standards and active participation in reviews
Blockchain domain knowledge and experience with pytest are preferred
