Figment is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the infrastructure behind its staking and blockchain services. The role involves building, deploying, securing, and operating the systems that power institutional staking across multiple networks. You will work with protocol teams, DevOps groups, and security personnel to maintain reliable blockchain nodes, design hybrid environments, automate system workflows, and embed security controls across CI/CD pipelines. The position requires strong experience with Linux internals, automation tools, monitoring systems, and distributed environments. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remote while contributing to the infrastructure used by major institutional clients in the Web3 ecosystem.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate blockchain nodes in collaboration with protocol teams.
• Maintain system scalability and high availability across infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and configure alerts.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support.
• Implement and manage automation and configuration tooling.
• Integrate security controls and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and strengthen hybrid infrastructure across bare-metal, on-prem, and cloud systems.
• Work with the Security Architect on risk assessments, secure configurations, and defense-in-depth practices.
• Audit and enhance infrastructure security based on CIS, NIST, and similar standards.

🔹 Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and kernel behavior.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience with engineering and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Nice to have: understanding of Zero Trust security models or distributed key-sharing frameworks.

• Base salary: CAD $130,000–$150,000 or USD $130,000–$150,000, depending on region.
