The Developer Relations team connects directly with developers, providing guidance, feedback channels, and resources to help teams build next-generation Web3 applications on the Mysten stack.

As a Senior Developer Relations Engineer, you will develop technical expertise in Sui Move, understand developer tooling, and help translate community pain points into actionable insights for product teams.

The role involves technical content creation, education, workshops, and hands-on support for builders across Web2 and Web3 backgrounds. Candidates should have strong engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and an interest in decentralized technologies. Compensation includes salary, equity, token allocations, and a comprehensive benefits package.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Understand developer goals and provide technical guidance for teams building on Sui and Walrus.
• Maintain a strong feedback loop between the community and internal product/protocol teams.
• Translate developer insights into actionable product improvements.
• Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, tutorials, and documentation.
• Support developer onboarding across online and in-person channels.
• Engage with local and global developer communities to drive adoption.
• Work cross-functionally to prioritize initiatives and support multi-disciplinary programs.

🔹 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience or a combined engineering + DevRel background.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Interest in Web3 ecosystems and emerging decentralized technologies.
• Comfortable traveling for workshops, community events, or conferences.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple workstreams.

🔹 Nice to Have

• 2–3 years of prior DevRel experience.
• Experience in blockchain, cryptography, or broader Web3 engineering.
• Familiarity with Move and/or Rust programming languages.
• Based in or near the SF Bay Area or NYC.
• Willingness to undergo a standard background check as part of the hiring process.
