Superduper builds Web3 products across decentralized finance and digital entertainment, including trading platforms and gaming experiences. The Principal Product Designer role leads design across this multi-product ecosystem, covering both high-stakes financial interfaces and engagement-driven gaming environments.

This position owns design direction across UX, UI, and interaction design, translating product strategy and brand intent into practical, scalable experiences. The role works closely with engineering, blockchain, quantitative, gaming, and compliance teams to ensure designs are technically feasible, consistent, and user-focused.

In addition to hands-on design leadership, this role sets quality standards, develops design systems that span diverse use cases, and mentors designers across multiple product verticals.

🔹 Responsibilities

Lead design across Web3 trading and gaming products while maintaining a cohesive ecosystem
Set and uphold design quality standards across financial and entertainment experiences
Translate complex Web3 mechanics into understandable user flows and interfaces
Partner with engineering teams to balance design ambition with technical constraints
Build scalable design systems adaptable to data-heavy dashboards and visually rich games
Design for edge cases such as transaction states, gas handling, cross-chain interactions, and game logic
Collaborate with blockchain engineers, quantitative developers, game developers, and compliance teams
Advocate for user-first design across different user motivations, including performance and entertainment
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing design team

🔹 Requirements

Proven experience designing digital products across multiple categories, such as fintech/trading or gaming/entertainment
Senior-level expertise in UX, UI, and interaction design with a portfolio showing breadth and adaptability
Working knowledge of Web3 concepts, including wallets, smart contracts, DEXs, and NFTs
Strong understanding of both analytical, data-driven interfaces and engagement-focused experiences
Advanced prototyping skills for complex interactions and real-time systems
Experience leading design across multiple products or brands simultaneously
End-to-end product design experience from discovery through execution

Nice to Have

Experience spanning both fintech/trading and gaming/entertainment sectors
Background in marketplace or ecosystem-style products
Familiarity with DeFi protocols and blockchain gaming mechanics
Experience with both consumer-facing products and professional tools
Prior experience building and scaling design teams
