About the Role

We’re building one of the most critical infrastructure layers in decentralized finance — the first operational Real-World Asset (RWA) Minter on a major blockchain protocol.
Our platform bridges traditional financial collateral (e.g., U.S. Treasuries) with on-chain liquidity by converting them into programmable monetary units ($M). This infrastructure becomes the foundation upon which others can create their own application-specific stable assets.

As Principal Blockchain Engineer, you will own the end-to-end technical vision of this ecosystem — from architectural design to execution — helping define standards, infrastructure reliability, and multi-chain integrations that bring real-world assets on-chain.

This position begins as a high-impact senior IC role and naturally grows into technical leadership, shaping engineering excellence across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Architect On-Chain Infrastructure: Design and implement automated minting pipelines and cross-chain stablecoin liquidity systems.
Ensure System Resilience: Build robust, institutional-grade infrastructure designed for high uptime and operational automation.
Full-Stack Ownership: Develop modern web apps, CLI tools, and interfaces that support issuance, reconciliation, and treasury workflows.
Monitoring & Observability: Set up alerting and diagnostic systems to maintain low-latency and fault-tolerant performance.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with finance, risk, and operations teams to integrate smart tools and simplify internal workflows.
Mentor & Guide: Review code, uplift engineering standards, and share knowledge within a growing global team.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
Core Skills: Strong command of TypeScript, plus hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
Blockchain Expertise: Proven experience developing and deploying EVM-compatible smart contracts.
Backend Mastery: Skilled in Node.js or similar frameworks; capable of building scalable REST/GraphQL APIs.
DeFi Understanding: Familiarity with core DeFi mechanisms — AMMs, lending protocols, stablecoin logic, etc.
Infrastructure Know-How: Comfortable with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-region cloud deployments.
Full-Stack Agility: Confident moving between backend services, APIs, and light-weight user interfaces.
Eligibility: Must be based outside the United States.

Bonus Points

Familiarity with Fireblocks API.
Experience developing infrastructure that meets institutional-grade reliability for financial systems.
