Role Overview

WalletConnect is seeking a Payments Manager (APAC) to grow its payments ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region. This role bridges traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure, driving adoption among PSPs, fintechs, and enterprise partners.

You’ll lead strategic partnerships, guide go-to-market initiatives, and shape WalletConnect’s onchain payments products — including solutions for payouts, checkouts, and point-of-sale systems.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage partnerships with PSPs, acquirers, and fintechs across APAC.
Drive business development and revenue opportunities for WalletConnect’s payments stack.
Negotiate and execute commercial agreements with regional partners.
Promote adoption through events, pilot programs, and co-marketing efforts.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align offerings with market needs.
Monitor payment trends, regulatory updates, and consumer behavior across APAC.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
Proven success in partnerships, BD, or commercialization roles.
Deep understanding of payments fundamentals — acquiring, issuing, reconciliation, FX, and compliance (KYC/AML).
Strong network in Singapore and APAC markets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with blockchain and Web3 is a plus.
Fluent in English; Mandarin preferred.
Self-driven, strategic, and comfortable working across time zones.
