Allium builds infrastructure to make blockchain data accurate, standardized, and accessible at scale. The company ingests and normalizes large volumes of on-chain data across more than 100 blockchains, serving analysts and engineers who rely on reliable, near–real-time data for analytics and application backends.

As the Founding Product Designer, this role owns the design of Allium’s data-intensive products from the ground up. The designer defines the core design language and systems while shaping how users explore, analyze, and act on complex blockchain data. This position works closely with product, engineering, data, and go-to-market teams and contributes directly to product direction and long-term design foundations.

🔹 Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product design across complex, data-heavy workflows
Design high-fidelity data visualizations, including charts, dashboards, and exploratory interfaces
Translate technical schemas, query outputs, and system constraints into usable UI patterns
Build and maintain Allium’s initial design system, including components, layouts, and chart styles
Prototype and test new interaction models for navigating blockchain and analytics abstractions
Establish early design processes, reviews, and documentation standards
Run usability feedback cycles with advanced users to improve clarity and efficiency
Collaborate with product, engineering, growth, marketing, and customer teams
Guide visual direction toward clarity, precision, and trustworthiness

🔹 Requirements

5+ years of experience designing data-rich or analytical products
Portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex or abstract information
Experience in crypto, fintech, trading, analytics, or financial data products, or ability to ramp quickly
Strong understanding of power-user UX patterns, including dense layouts and advanced workflows
Ability to simplify complex information without losing accuracy
Experience collaborating closely with engineers and data teams
Proven experience building and scaling design systems
Clear communication skills and collaborative working style
Demonstrated interest in blockchain or data-intensive systems

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with crypto analytics tools, dashboards, or explorers
Background in visualization, HCI, or analytical interface design
Familiarity with SQL, data tools, or charting libraries
Prior experience as a founding or first design hire
Systems-oriented approach to design and abstraction
