DevOps Engineer (L2/L3) — Cloud & Terraform

This role sits within a platform engineering context supporting distributed teams in a remote Canada setup, working with cloud, Terraform, and incident response systems.
As a DevOps Engineer (L2/L3), the role owns infrastructure reliability, automation pipelines, and alerting systems while supporting internal business workflows. It involves end-to-end lifecycle ownership—from solution design to deployment and optimization—within environments leveraging Kubernetes, serverless infrastructure, and cloud-native tooling. The position contributes to scaling a web3 team with a focus on operational excellence, security, and system observability.

🔹 Responsibilities
• Own and maintain corporate IT infrastructure using Terraform with secure, versioned configurations
• Design and deploy serverless automations to reduce manual operational workload
• Manage alerting and notification pipelines using tools like All-in-one incident management platform | incident.io
• Improve incident response workflows, including runbooks and post-incident reviews
• Package and maintain internal tools using Docker
• Develop scripts and lightweight applications using Bash, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Collaborate with Security, Platform/SRE teams, and business stakeholders
• Maintain and troubleshoot networking systems including DNS, VPN, and firewalls

🔹 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or DevOps-related roles
• Experience administering Google Workspace at an organizational level
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with serverless and managed compute services
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs and webhook systems
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting
• Experience with Kubernetes for container deployment
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Grafana
• Experience with incident management platforms like All-in-one incident management platform | incident.io or PagerDuty
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewall)
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
🔹 Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: 130,000 – 180,000 CAD per year
