Blockchain Security Engineer (Solidity / Rust / Golang)

This role supports CertiK’s blockchain security engineering function, focusing on auditing decentralized systems and contributing to internal security tools. The position is designed for early-career engineers with a strong technical foundation and an interest in securing smart contracts, protocols, and blockchain infrastructure.

The work involves reviewing codebases, researching potential attack vectors, and participating in the development of security methodologies under guidance. The engineer will assist in improving internal processes while gaining direct experience with various blockchain environments. CertiK’s clients span major Web3 projects, providing exposure to diverse technologies and real-world security challenges across decentralized ecosystems.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Audit and review smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and dApps to identify vulnerabilities.
• Conduct guided security research and explore emerging attack vectors.
• Contribute to internal security tools, frameworks, and related development tasks.
• Support enhancements to internal methodologies and service delivery processes.

🔹 Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Security (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on blockchain experience (smart contracts, nodes, SDKs, or multi-chain environments).
• Experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Rust, Go, Solidity, or Python.
• Interest in cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain technologies.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Mathematics, Cryptography, or Cybersecurity.
• Experience collaborating with or auditing leading Web3 protocols.
• Demonstrated achievements such as published CVEs or strong performance in security contests.

🔹 Compensation & Benefits

• US salary range: $102,000 – $180,000, depending on skills and experience.
