🟩 Blockchain Engineer (EVM Client)

About the Role

As part of Conduit’s backend engineering team, you’ll help build the foundational systems that power our platform. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing Ethereum-based distributed systems — with a special focus on improving the EVM client and Node performance.

You’ll work on making our infrastructure faster, more scalable, and more reliable, while also exploring alternative implementations such as Reth to push the boundaries of Ethereum performance at scale.

This is a high-impact engineering role where your work directly shapes the reliability and throughput of Conduit’s production environment.

Responsibilities

Architect and evolve EVM Node solutions that drive the Conduit platform.
Build scalable, production-grade software in a DevOps environment.
Develop and maintain internal tools that enhance maintainability and reliability.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure smooth production operations.
Collaborate with engineers across teams for design reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Node-level architecture.
Experience with Ethereum internals such as debuggers, tracers, and block explorers.
Familiarity with developer tooling and patterns for EVM-based ecosystems.
Proven experience designing and running production distributed systems.
Strong debugging skills across multiple layers (networking, performance, memory).
Excellent teamwork and communication skills for peer reviews and mentoring.
