About the role:

Morpho is hiring a Solution Architect for APAC to work with its Integration Team and support large partners and integrators. The role acts as the main technical counterpart between partner teams and Morpho’s engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities:

Work with Business Development to understand partner needs and translate them into technical approaches.
Identify integration constraints, reduce risk, and define success criteria.

Architect around wallets, custody, KYC and access controls, compliance, liquidation tooling, monitoring, and operations.

Coordinate with internal protocol, product, infrastructure, legal, risk, and growth teams to support partner launches.

Requirements:

5+ years of software engineering experience, with experience owning complex systems and delivering cross-functionally.
Significant experience working with external partners in solutions architecture, integration engineering, or technical pre-sales.
Experience in DeFi, including understanding of at least one major DeFi protocol or lending and borrowing mechanisms.
Strong architecture skills across smart contracts, APIs/SDKs, custody or wallet infrastructure, and compliance constraints.
Working knowledge of Solidity, with ability to read, review, and debug smart contracts and integration flows.
Experience designing or implementing integrations across APIs, smart contracts, custody providers, or similar systems.
Excellent written communication for specs, integration guides, and partner-facing documentation.
Fluency in English and Mandarin, written and spoken.

Preferred / nice-to-have experience:

Experience integrating with exchanges, wallets, custody providers, fintechs, or institutional asset managers.
Familiarity with permissioned DeFi patterns such as allowlists, wrappers/controllers, role separation, and timelocks.
Understanding of liquidity and go-to-market mechanics such as liquidity provisioning, market makers, and incentives.
Experience improving integration processes, handoffs, templates, playbooks, and documentation.
