Smart Contract Auditor — Solidity Security

hiring a full-time Smart Contract Auditor to support blockchain infrastructure roles across Ethereum and StarkNet ecosystems. This remote web3 job focuses on reviewing Solidity and Cairo smart contracts, improving blockchain security tooling, and collaborating directly with protocol teams on security best practices. 

The engineering team works on smart contract audits, security analysis, debugging, and protocol-level tooling tied to the Ethereum Virtual Machine and StarkNet infrastructure. Candidates with experience in Solidity, security research, DeFi applications, audits, and reverse engineering will work closely with developers and clients in a distributed remote environment. Knowledge of Cairo, StarkNet, GoLang, and blockchain security workflows is considered valuable for the role.

Build-stage focus includes maintaining and improving internal security tooling while supporting protocol security reviews for external clients.

🔹 Responsibilities

Part of scaling a web3 team focused on smart contract security and protocol infrastructure.

• Work directly with protocols in the Ethereum and StarkNet ecosystems to review their code and help secure their protocols
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain and continually improve existing blockchain security tools using modern software engineering practices
• Develop new blockchain security tools
• Engage in meetings with clients to discuss security and best practice improvements

🔹 Requirements

Relevant for candidates pursuing web3 security roles with hands-on Solidity auditing experience.

• 1+ years of experience in Solidity security analysis
• Strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and Yellow Paper
• Fluency in Solidity development and deployment of smart contracts
• Detailed understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities
• Fluency with common tools and frameworks used for smart contract development and security analysis
• Strong debugging skills and/or experience in reverse engineering
• Basic knowledge of Cairo and StarkNet

Nice to have

• Multiple years of prior experience in traditional cybersecurity before transitioning into blockchain
• Experience in Cairo development
• Strong understanding of StarkNet
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of common DeFi applications
• Portfolio of blog posts or presentations related to DeFi or security topics
• Publicly visible audit reports
