Role Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Custody & Settlement team, you will build the on-chain transaction infrastructure powering Coinme's crypto payment rails. You will design fulfillment pipelines, wallet orchestration systems, and cross-chain settlement mechanisms to securely move funds at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Architecture: Build performant software and API integrations for accepting, disseminating, and liquidating customer transaction funds across chains.
On-Chain Infrastructure: Maintain wallet orchestration, custody solutions, transaction signing, broadcasting, and confirmation tracking systems.
Scalable Backend Systems: Develop resilient microservices utilizing Java 17+, Reactive Java, Spring Boot, CQRS, and Event Sourcing architectures.
Operational Stability: Drive engineering excellence, automated testing, and secure execution across event-driven message queues and database systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Haves

Experience Level: 6+ years of software engineering experience building distributed systems and microservices.
Core Tech Stack: High proficiency in Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ), and databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
On-Chain Engineering: Practical experience with transaction signing, broadcasting, confirmation tracking, and gas management.
Architecture: Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven design, and cloud container deployments (Kubernetes).

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with wallet orchestration tools (e.g., Fireblocks) or multi-signer architectures.
Working knowledge of CQRS architecture, Event Sourcing (ES), and asynchronous event streaming.
Familiarity with stablecoin payment rails, multi-chain settlement flows, or treasury management.
Understanding of KYC/AML transaction monitoring integrations.
