Senior Full-Stack Engineer — React / Next.js

Fireplace builds a pro-trading terminal for prediction markets, focused on real-time data delivery, execution speed, and institutional-grade workflows. The team operates in a high-intensity environment where frontend performance and backend correctness directly impact trading outcomes. This role sits within blockchain infrastructure roles, owning the full stack from UI to API layers.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will design and scale both the frontend trading interface and backend systems powering market data, orders, and user state. The role requires working across React, Next.js, and backend services handling real-time pipelines, with full ownership from architecture to production in a remote setup.

Supporting teams focused on scaling a web3 team in high-performance environments.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance frontend features using React and Next.js
• Design and implement backend APIs supporting real-time trading workflows
• Integrate frontend systems with backend services handling market data, orders, positions, and user state
• Build real-time data pipelines using WebSockets, streaming APIs, and event-driven services
• Own API design, data contracts, and frontend-backend integration end-to-end
• Integrate and manage crypto wallet connections, signing flows, and on-chain interactions
• Debug issues across the stack including UI performance, API latency, and data consistency
• Use AI tools to improve development speed while maintaining correctness and quality
• Take full ownership of features from concept through architecture, production, and iteration

🔹 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional engineering experience
• Strong experience with React and Next.js
• Experience building high-performance real-time applications
• Experience designing and building backend APIs (Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar)
• Strong understanding of frontend-backend data flows and system boundaries
• Experience building trading, exchange, or market-driven applications
• Experience building consumer crypto products
• Familiarity with crypto wallet integration and management
• High attention to detail with strong ownership mindset
• Prior experience at an exchange or trading product company is a plus
