Product Manager | Matcha

0x is hiring a Product Manager to own growth for Matcha Web, its consumer-facing DEX aggregation product. Matcha aggregates liquidity across multiple blockchains and trading sources and serves as a core trading interface within the broader Matcha product suite.

This role focuses on increasing volume share and expanding the base of recurring active traders through data-driven experimentation and funnel optimization.

The Product Manager will be responsible for strategy, roadmap ownership, and execution, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams. The role emphasizes experimentation, analytics, and UX improvements rather than feature-led development, and operates in a fully remote, distributed team environment.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Matcha Web with a focus on growth outcomes
• Design and run experiments such as A/B tests, feature flags, pricing or fee tests, and UX changes to improve acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention
• Improve onboarding flows, token discovery and search relevance, quote presentation, and trade execution experiences
• Use analytics, user research, and market data to identify high-impact opportunities, set priorities, and communicate trade-offs
• Partner with engineering and design to deliver changes efficiently and at high quality
• Collaborate with marketing and social teams to support top-of-funnel growth and user re-engagement
• Track and report metrics including volume share, recurring active traders, DAU, activation rates, repeat trades, and conversion indicators
• Ensure Matcha Web remains aligned with the broader Matcha product suite and brand direction

🔹 Requirements

• At least 5 years of product management experience in crypto, fintech, or high-growth web products
• Demonstrated experience scaling web products through experimentation and UX optimization
• Strong understanding of growth methodologies including funnel analysis, cohorting, metrics, and instrumentation
• Practical knowledge of decentralised exchanges, wallets, and DeFi trading mechanics
• Data-driven and collaborative working style with clear stakeholder communication
• Ability to operate independently in distributed, asynchronous teams
• Alignment with long-term product impact and core operating values
• Willingness to travel globally for two annual in-person team meetups

🔹 Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: USD $120,000 – $200,000
