LI.FI builds infrastructure that enables unified access to on-chain liquidity across multiple blockchains through a single API, supporting same-chain and cross-chain swaps. This role sits within the Smart Contract API Expansion team, which focuses on integrating new chains, bridges, and protocol functionality across EVM networks.
As a Mid/Senior Smart Contract Engineer, you will develop, adapt, review, and deploy Solidity-based contracts across a large multi-chain environment. The position involves maintaining production contracts, supporting audits, improving deployment automation, and ensuring security and operational reliability across many networks. The role reports directly to the Engineering Manager of the API Expansion team.
🔹 Responsibilities
Develop, configure, and maintain production smart contracts with a focus on security and gas efficiency
Collaborate with external auditors, resolve findings, and maintain audit traceability
Write and improve deployment and automation scripts using TypeScript and Bash
Deploy and verify staging and production contracts across multiple EVM chains
Create, review, and sign multisig proposals in production environments
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines on GitHub
Review bug bounty submissions and respond with technical analysis
Support customer-facing teams by analyzing failed transactions and explaining outcomes
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing within the smart contract team
🔹 Requirements
5+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years of Solidity and 3 years of TypeScript
Experience with Yul/Assembly and deploying contracts across multiple EVM networks
Strong attention to detail with a quality-driven development approach
Clear written and verbal communication skills in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
Experience with DeFi protocols, especially bridges or cross-chain systems, is a plus
Contributions to EIPs or public blockchain initiatives are a plus
Degree in computer science or a related field is a plus
🔹 Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: €100,000 – €140,000
