Plume Network is developing infrastructure for tokenized capital markets, with a focus on core EVM-based components that support features such as RWA tokenization, identity attestations, and onboarding workflows. The Junior Smart Contract Engineer will work closely with the CTO to build, deploy, and maintain Solidity smart contracts central to the Plume ecosystem.

The role also involves integrating contracts with internal applications, designing on-chain and off-chain components for upcoming testnet initiatives, and supporting ecosystem teams using Plume’s stack. As an early engineering hire, the position offers exposure to architecture design, audits, new feature development, and collaboration across engineering functions.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Deploy smart contracts for key Plume features, including RWA tokenization, KYC attestations, and account abstraction.
• Collaborate with product engineers to integrate smart contract logic into Plume’s core applications.
• Design smart contract, indexing, and off-chain systems for an incentivized testnet program.
• Build next-generation smart contracts and standards for tokenized capital markets.
• Support onboarding, learn existing code, and contribute to early product iterations.
• Assist teams building on Plume with contract-related issues and feature needs.
• Prepare code for audits and respond to audit findings.
• Propose concepts for new dApps and contribute to product ideation.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in engineering hiring processes.

🔹 Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in a startup or large tech company.
• 1+ years of smart contract development with at least one production deployment on an EVM mainnet.
• Based in Canada or the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, or an exceptional professional background in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to complete a multi-stage interview process: automated coding test, technical phone screen, and a paid onsite work trial.
