Role Summary
G-20 Group is seeking an innovative De-Fi Developer & Engineer to join a close-knit technology, math, and trading-focused team. In this role, you will work alongside quantitative researchers and systematic traders to co-develop high-performance trading algorithms, build execution and connectivity architecture, and perform deep on-chain research across decentralized protocols to scale automated market-making and trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Algorithm & Platform Co-Development: Co-develop proprietary trading algorithms and platform architecture, implementing innovative trade execution and connectivity solutions.
DeFi & On-Chain Research: Conduct thorough research and quantitative analysis of DeFi protocols using on-chain data to support and optimize market-making and trading strategies.
Smart Contract & Low-Level Innovation: Innovate at the lowest layers of blockchain infrastructure, evaluate protocol mechanics, and review/audit smart contracts.
Large-Scale Deployment: Architect, deploy, and maintain large-scale technological stacks and production-grade Web3 infrastructure.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Haves
Blockchain Architecture: Proven advanced understanding of EVM internals or other major blockchain ecosystem architectures and execution environments.
Core Programming Skills: Proficient in at least 2 of the following languages: C++, Python, TypeScript, Rust (Solidity is an asset).
Blockchain Languages: Working proficiency in Web3 development languages (Golang, Rust, Solidity, Move, or Yul).
Smart Contract Expertise: Experience in smart contract audits with a drive to innovate at the protocol/node level.
Delivery Track Record: Demonstrated ability to build, deploy, and support large-scale technological stacks and finish complex engineering projects.
Communication: Fluent English communication skills in high-velocity collaborative environments.
Work Authorization: Must possess pre-existing right to work in Zürich, London, New York, or Hong Kong (no company visa sponsorship provided).
Nice-to-Haves
Hands-on experience with on-chain analytics and DeFi protocols across multiple L1/L2 chains.
Background in fast-paced quantitative finance, market making, or high-frequency proprietary trading environments
