The Blockchain Protocol Security Auditor performs in-depth security assessments of Layer 1 protocols, focusing on identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in protocol implementations. The role includes producing comprehensive audit reports, collaborating with client engineering teams during remediation, and contributing to internal tooling that improves audit efficiency.

You will apply advanced Rust and Go expertise, fuzz testing, cryptography knowledge, and static/dynamic analysis techniques to secure blockchain systems. 🔹 Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive security audits of Layer 1 blockchain protocols.
• Develop and improve internal tools to streamline audit workflows.
• Track emerging threats and update audit techniques accordingly.
• Deliver clear, detailed security reports and assist client teams with remediation guidance.

🔹 Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of Rust development plus 5+ years in software development overall.
• Strong proficiency in Golang for secure system development.
• Deep knowledge of Layer 1 protocols, consensus algorithms, smart contracts, and VMs.
• Demonstrated security auditing experience using static and dynamic analysis.
• Practical expertise in fuzz testing methodologies and tools.
• Solid cryptography understanding (PKI, hashing, signatures, ECC, ZKPs, MPC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and rapid adaptation to new protocols and tools.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP).
• Experience with Substrate, Cosmos, or similar frameworks.
