ZIGChain is a Layer 1 blockchain focused on building decentralized infrastructure designed for scalability, security, and interoperability. The team develops core protocol components that enable cross-chain communication and decentralized financial systems.

This role is responsible for designing and optimizing blockchain solutions using Cosmos-based tooling, contributing to interoperability through IBC, and strengthening the performance and security of the network. The position sits within blockchain infrastructure roles and requires hands-on experience building production-grade modules and distributed systems.

You will contribute directly to the design and evolution of the protocol and its ecosystem.

Design, develop, and optimize blockchain solutions using Cosmos SDK, Ignite, and IBC
Architect scalable and secure systems supporting the ZIGChain ecosystem
Implement and improve interoperability with other blockchains through IBC integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on decentralized finance initiatives
Monitor, maintain, and enhance blockchain performance, security, and operational efficiency

The ideal candidate brings deep software engineering experience with a focus on distributed systems and blockchain architecture.

10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years with Go
3+ years of hands-on experience with Cosmos SDK, Ignite, and IBC
Experience building Cosmos modules in Go
Strong system architecture capabilities emphasizing scalability, security, and interoperability

Preferred qualifications:

Experience integrating Axelar for cross-chain communication
Understanding of token migrations and smart contract execution
Experience with oracle integrations
Proficiency in Rust and Python
Experience launching testnets and mainnets
Experience implementing and monitoring blockchain monitoring solutions
Familiarity with Solidity and Evmos
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams
Commitment to automation, continuous improvement, and clean code practices
Ownership mindset with the ability to work autonomously in remote environments

Compensation and benefits:

Competitive annual salary ranging from $120.000,00 to 150.000,00
