Agentic Systems Intern (Graduate) — AI / LLM Agents
Remote · Worldwide
Nascent is a capital-backed firm operating across open financial systems, combining investment, engineering, and operational execution. This internship focuses on building agent-driven systems that automate business workflows across distributed teams in the United States and Canada.
Working in a remote environment aligned with EST time zones, you will design and deploy LLM-based multi-agent systems that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and drive measurable outcomes. The role operates across strategy, operations, and engineering, with full ownership of system lifecycle—from problem definition to production deployment—supporting teams working on blockchain infrastructure roles and internal automation systems.
Supporting teams scaling a web3 team, this role emphasizes building production-grade agent systems with real operational impact.
🔹 Responsibilities
• Identify operational bottlenecks and design agent-driven systems to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability
• Design, build, and deploy agent-based workflows across functions such as talent, onboarding, and internal tooling
• Own the full lifecycle of systems from problem definition to deployment and iteration
• Measure and quantify system impact in terms of efficiency, cost reduction, or throughput
• Collaborate with internal users to ensure adoption and integration into daily workflows
• Document systems for reuse, scalability, and team-wide adoption
This role aligns with web3 smart contract roles transitioning toward AI-driven operational systems.
🔹 Requirements
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured, system-driven solutions
• Strong focus on ROI, including time savings, cost reduction, and performance improvements
• Systems thinking mindset (inputs, outputs, feedback loops, failure points)
• Ability to operate independently and make progress in undefined environments
• Ownership mindset with ability to drive outcomes and collaborate when needed
• Fast learning across technical and operational domains
• Iterative development approach (build, test, refine)
Preferred Experience:
• MBA student or recent graduate with technical or engineering background
• Experience designing multi-agent systems with shared state and memory layers
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, or automation tools (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Zapier, etc.)
• Ability to code for prototyping (Python or similar)
• Exposure to operational workflows and real-world systems
• Experience building and shipping side projects with measurable impact
🔹 Compensation & Benefits
• Compensation: $50 – $75 per hour
• Bonus eligibility included
• Flexible program starting May 2026
• Potential conversion to full-time role
• Remote-first work with flexible hours (EST ±3 hours)
• Mentorship from operators and engineers
Most teams underestimate how fast AI + blockchain roles are converging.
If you’re hiring—or preparing for roles like this—understanding that shift early is where the advantage is.
