I’m about to finish school, and I’ve been getting super into blockchain lately. It’s wild how it’s changing everything, and I’m seriously thinking about becoming a blockchain developer. But honestly, I’m a bit lost on where to start. How do I get into blockchain development after 12th? Should I just jump into courses, or is a degree the way to go? What skills should I be picking up right now? If anyone’s already gone down this road or has any tips, I’d really appreciate the help!

To become a blockchain developer after 12th, start by learning the basics of programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or Solidity, which are crucial for blockchain development. You can enroll in online courses or certifications that focus on blockchain technology and smart contracts. A degree in computer science or a related field can be beneficial, but it’s not mandatory if you build strong coding skills and practical experience. Participate in blockchain projects, hackathons, and join developer communities to gain hands-on experience. With dedication and continuous learning, you can carve a successful path in blockchain development.

I am happy to see youngsters like you are taking interest in blockchain as a technology So coming to your query, I will start learning basics like python and JavaScript. At the same time, start exploring blockchain fundamentals keeping your curiosity at understanding how decentralized networks, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts work. You can also consider doing a computer science degree with blockchain specialization, Many colleges have started these courses.

Many online free courses on Youtube, coursera are also available.

As you grow, dive into Solidity (for Ethereum) or Rust (for Solana/Polkadot). Also, staying active in developer communities on GitHub, Discord, and forums like Stack Overflow will give great exposure.
Best wishes for your career growth. Feel free to add your queries I would be happy to help you.
