In 2019, I joined Xord as an initial member and a Frontend Dev. We were small, hungry, and building.

But as we scaled to 3 countries, the "business" side got heavy. We needed leadership in Finance and Compliance. As an initial member, I didn't think twice and stepped up to take up this responsibility. For 4 years, I wore the suit. I handled the legals, the burn rates, and the global operations.

It was an incredible masterclass in how Web3 companies actually survive. But my heart never left the terminal.

In 2024, I stepped down and decided to handover the responsibility and dive into the tech side once again. I’ve spent the last 2 years deep-diving into the web3 ecosystem but with technical perspective, building everything from trading bots to payment gateways.

The lesson? Don’t be afraid to take a detour to help your tribe. It doesn't make you less of a builder; it makes you a better leader.

Back to building. 🦀 ⚙️

At the time, I didn’t think twice about taking up the role, but returning to my passion was a big step for me. I was hesitant at first, but my team truly supported me throughout the transition, and I was able to reconnect with the technical side once again. Team and company culture really matter, and I’m glad to have worked with such great people.
