Paradex is a decentralized finance platform building a unified system that combines exchange trading, asset management, and borrow/lend functionality on a high-performance blockchain. The team operates with a flat structure and focuses on shipping production-grade systems without traditional management layers.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will own the end-to-end development lifecycle of major features, from early design through production deployment. The role involves working on distributed backend systems, blockchain-based protocols, APIs, and developer tooling that support crypto derivatives trading. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable features, addressing both user-facing functionality and core infrastructure performance challenges.

🔹 Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and deploy decentralized backend systems and smart contracts for crypto derivatives trading.
Develop and maintain APIs and SDKs that support reliable trade execution and platform integrations.
Own monitoring, alerting, analytics, and reporting for services you deliver to ensure performance and reliability.
Communicate technical requirements and implementation details clearly across cross-functional engineering teams.

🔹 Requirements

5+ years of backend or fullstack engineering experience, including taking products from concept to launch.
Strong programming experience with languages such as JavaScript, Python, Golang, Java, or C++, with foundational knowledge of cryptography.
Hands-on experience with Solidity and building upgradeable smart contracts on blockchain platforms.
Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and/or Kubernetes in production environments.
Solid understanding of cryptocurrency systems, including blockchain fundamentals, PoW, PoS, and L1/L2 architectures.
Interest in advanced blockchain technologies such as ZK-Rollups.
