Fullstack Engineer (Monetisation) — Node.js / TypeScript

MoonPay builds a unified payments infrastructure enabling users to buy, sell, swap, and transact digital currencies through a compliant and scalable platform operating across the United States, UK, and EU. The system integrates identity verification, fraud detection, and settlement layers to support high-volume global transactions.

This Fullstack Engineer role sits within cross-functional squads working across payments, crypto, and core product systems. The position focuses on monetization systems, including pricing, promotions, and experimentation frameworks. You will own both backend and frontend delivery using Node.js, TypeScript, and React in a remote environment. This is aligned with web3 smart contract roles and product-focused engineering teams building scalable revenue systems within blockchain infrastructure.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Architect and develop new and existing monetization products and features
• Work with the head of monetization, data scientists, and engineers to implement experimentation and algorithmic pricing features across RAMPs, DeFi trading, and swaps
• Collaborate with product teams to improve customer-facing functionality
• Contribute to estimation, planning, and execution of features, projects, and integrations
• Integrate with external service providers powering platform services
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase
• Write high-quality, fully tested, and performant code

🔹 Requirements

• Extensive full-stack engineering experience in startups or fast-growing tech companies
• Experience in marketplace or platform businesses with algorithmic pricing and A/B testing
• Experience building systems for pricing, promotions, rewards, or loyalty programs across backend and frontend
• Experience building experimentation platforms and infrastructure for pricing systems
• Ability to develop, release, and maintain server-side applications in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with the tech stack or ability to upskill quickly
• Strong understanding of database structures and system design
• Experience with cloud-native platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
• Bonus: open-source contributions or Web3 experience
