Compliance Operations Lead — KYB / Transaction Monitoring — Global — Remote

Squads is building Altitude, a stablecoin-based business account platform designed for cross-border payments, treasury operations, cards, and invoicing. This remote web3 role focuses on turning compliance policy into operational and technical workflows that function reliably across multiple PSPs and identity vendors.

The Compliance Operations Lead works at the intersection of compliance, product, vendors, and engineering to ensure KYB, transaction monitoring, and onboarding controls are correctly orchestrated inside the product.

You’ll design and optimize workflows, define escalation paths, and remove friction for legitimate businesses while maintaining strong regulatory controls across jurisdictions.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize KYB workflows across Sumsub and other identity vendors
• Build routing logic that guides customers through compliance checks based on risk, jurisdiction, and product access
• Design and implement transaction monitoring workflows
• Create SOPs for compliance operations, RFIs, escalations, and case management
• Work with engineering to define compliance requirements for new features and market expansion
• Manage operational relationships with compliance and identity vendors
• Identify onboarding friction for legitimate businesses and resolve it without weakening controls

🔹 Requirements

• Experience configuring compliance and identity vendors such as Sumsub, Persona, or similar
• Ability to translate compliance policy into technical and operational workflows

• Strong systems thinking across interconnected workflows and vendors
• Prior experience in fintech or payments operations preferred
• Comfort operating across multiple PSP requirements and complex process environments
