Backend Developer for Blockchain Services

SatoshiLabs, the company behind Trezor and the first hardware wallet in the industry, such as Recovery Seeds and Shamir Backup, is seeking a Backend Developer to support and expand its blockchain infrastructure. The role involves developing services that interface with multiple crypto networks, integrating external data services, managing backend performance, and ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure operations.

This position works collaboratively with engineering, security, and DevOps stakeholders, focusing on backend reliability, monitoring, and architecture decisions that contribute to Trezor’s open-source, privacy-focused ecosystem.

🔹 Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems for multiple blockchain networks.
• Integrate external services and APIs related to crypto data sources and fiat rate services.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to apply secure deployment standards and infrastructure best practices.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews to ensure maintainability and performance.
• Participate in technical planning and backend infrastructure strategy.
• Manage and optimize backend services connected to blockchain networks.
• Implement monitoring and logging for backend systems.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of blockchain-related services.

🔹 Requirements

• Strong backend development skills with TypeScript, Go, and Node.js preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Solid communication skills to align infrastructure decisions with organizational needs.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with third-party crypto integrations is beneficial.
• Experience with blockchain node APIs and protocols is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerized deployments.
