Founding CTO, HyperSignals, Dubai (On-site)

HyperSignals is building a perpetual trading platform centered on execution quality, transparency, and system reliability. The product is designed around social, signal-driven trading with live positions and real-time trade replication, operating under high load and volatile market conditions. This role owns the technical foundation of an early-stage platform with no legacy constraints, spanning architecture, implementation, and production operations.

As Founding CTO, you will take end-to-end responsibility for designing and running latency-sensitive trading systems while contributing directly to core code. You’ll work closely with the founder to translate product direction into resilient technical systems, balancing performance, correctness, and safety.

🔹 Responsibilities

Define and own the end-to-end technical roadmap, architecture, and execution plans.
Design and build low-latency trading infrastructure covering order routing, execution, risk checks, and safeguards.
Develop systems for trade mirroring, execution guarantees, live positions, and real-time PnL tracking.
Architect real-time data feeds and event-driven workflows supporting high-throughput environments.
Own production infrastructure, including cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response.
Make technical trade-offs involving performance, correctness, and user safety during market volatility.
Partner with the founder on product sequencing, build-versus-buy decisions, and long-term technical strategy.
Build and lead the engineering organization through early hiring, mentorship, and setting engineering standards.

🔹 Requirements

7+ years of backend engineering experience.
Prior experience building or operating trading, exchange, or financial systems.
Strong understanding of order books, matching engines, execution flows, and margin or risk systems.
Experience designing latency-sensitive, real-time architectures.
Proven background running production systems under load.
Solid DevOps experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems.
